Payment Requests

General
  1. Payment Requests can now be sent in bulk from the Appointment Reconciliation report.
  2. A progress bar will be displayed when refreshing the status of Payment Requests.
  3. Added option to refresh or cancel individual payment requests.  To use this open the Payment Request page, right-click on a payment request then select "Refresh Status" or "Cancel". We strongly recommend cancelling payment requests if a customer has paid using a different method to ensure no accidental overpayments can be made.  
  4. Added additional menu buttons for the Payment Requests toolbar (as shown below).

  5. Resolved issue with expired Payment Request status.
  6. When posting payment from Statement Payment Requests, payment will not be applied to bills with outstanding Payment Requests.
Payment Request Page
  1. Added filters to all of the column headings on the Payment Request page.
  2. Added Status Date to show the time that CityPay updated a token to the Payment Request History. The Date and Time column shows the time the token was updated in MediBooks.
  3. Fixed alignment on Status Report dialog.

Improved overpayment protection
  1. Manual Payment is no longer allowed on Payment Requests with the Paid status - the payment request must be posted before further payments can be made.
  2. Added warning message when posting payments on items with Payment Requests with Sent or Delivered statuses.
  3. New Payment Requests can no longer be sent when Paid Payment Requests are outstanding.
  4. Payment Requests can no longer be sent on settled accounts from Statement Delivery.
  5. When sending new Payment Request any related active payment requests can be refreshed.
Payment Page
  1. Added Request Status column which will display the current status of any Payment Requests.
  2. When relevant the option will be provided to refresh any outstanding Payment Requests for the customer.

Other Changes

Miscellaneous

  1. Added support for using multiple Windows Logons with one account. To do this please separate each account with a semi colon, as shown in the image below.

  1. Cache folders will no longer be saved to Desktop. The DawnCache and GPUCache folders can be deleted from the desktop.
  2. Invoice numbers now show on statements.
  3. Replaced "SJR" on letter headers with "Our Ref: *Customer External ID*".
  4. Resolved issues with password resets.
  5. Further improvements to Reset Layout on certain screens.
  6. Added support for alternate watermarks on printed documents.

Bill Import

  1. Added loading spinner.
  2. Prevented double clicking Post button.
  3. Resolved error that would occur when InvNo is empty.
  4. Duplicate bills can be posted if existing bill is voided.

Front Desk

  1. Fixed issue where blank invoices would be added to the Front Desk.

Customer

  1. Added dialog when Account Validate is used to show any issues that have been found and allow users to fix the issues or cancel the validation.
  2. Account Validate now checks for voided bills that still have associated credit.
  3. Improved how Account Validate handles multiple voided bills with credit notes.
  4. Resolved error message that could appear when canceling the print statement dialog.
Create an Invoice
  1. Improved Modification history.
  2. Resolved issue where booking fee bill items would not be added to invoices on certain customers.
Modify
  1. Added a clear button when editing a third party reference Start and End date for a customer.

Third-Party

Fixed problem where no rows were shown on the allocate screens (Journal and Payment page popup).
Resolved issue with the Currently Unclaimed items row including balance for credited items.
Full Receipts
  1. The payment method name is now shown.

Government

Account
  1. Documents for Payments, Credit Notes, Debit Notes and Journals such as claim rejections can now be printed using the same method as for on Customers and Third Parties. To do this right-click on a transaction and select "View ...".
  2. Improved loading of Account Overview.

  1. Fixed issue where Force Payment Allocation would break auto allocation on payment screen.
  2. Auth Number is now displayed only when Payment Method is used for the Virtual Terminal or BPS Payment Methods (medibooks.cloud)

  1. Added validation message when Cons. Date is used as the filter.

  1. Fixed timeout issue when using "Show All" button.

Reports

  1. Grid filters and customisation are now cleared when exiting reports. Extra columns and resizing of columns can still be saved using the pre-existing layout options: Creating new Layouts
Appointment Reconciliation Report
  1. Added Checkboxes for Show Customer, Third Party and Government Outstanding Balanced to allow customization of the balance shown. 
Unallocated Items
  1. Added "Include deposits" checkbox, when ticked the report will include a deposit row and show any accounts with unallocated credit but no outstanding items.
Accounting - Consultant
  1. Fixed filters.
Customer Details
  1. Added Use Billing Address column.
Voided Items
  1. Added Notes column, this will show all notes on a transaction.

Administration

Statement Delivery
  1. Fixed issue with out-of-memory error statements.

Task Scheduling
  1. When editing invoice templates for Charges tasks any previously selected Customer checkboxes will be initially checked.
  2. Added close button to charges task invoice templates.
  3. Removed unused "As At" field from Booking Fees tasks.

System

Access Control
  1. Resolved issue with the New User Access Control permission.
  2. Removed unused Schedule Comms permission.
Terminals
  1. Fixed issue where the Auto Sync checkbox on the Terminals screen would disable the Sync Customer and Sync Details buttons when unchecked.

System Setup

Clients
  1. Added "Manually save then open with default application when bulk printing Pdf documents" setting to allow users to save and print documents without the MediBooks PDF viewer.
