CityPay Card Payments Failing

When taking card payments using the Virtual Terminal an error message may be shown. ThIS often due to missing or incorrect configuration settings.

Examples of error messages where this is likely the case are:
  1. Paylink request failed: Forbidden
  2. Paylink request failed. Error - P0007/The request is not from an accepted source: No authen required via RSP

Error - P007 is normally caused by an IP issue with how Citypay links it's terminal to the till system. You will need to ask Citypay for assistance to resolve this issue by giving them your PC's IP address so they can whitelist it. You use can www.whatismyipaddress.com  to find this out.

You can also check your Virtual Terminal settings from the System Setup page in MediBooks.

Click the Medibooks logo in the top left.



Click on [Settings] and then click [System Setup].



Open the Virtual Terminal settings using the menu on the left side of the window.  Click Test Connection to check your Citypay details are working correctly.

A confirmation message will appear like in the screenshot below if the connection was successful.
