Posting Payment Requests individually
Payment requests can be posted on an ad hoc basis (for example when a customer has come into the surgery having already paid some of their outstanding balance.
To do this, with the customer already selected open the Payment Request tab on the bottom half of the screen.
Right click on a Payment Request and select "Post Payment" to post the payment.
Posting Payment Requests in bulk
First, open the Administration tab, then select [Payment Requests].
To ensure you have the most recent updates for the Payment Requests, use [Get Latest Status].
Using the status dropdown box, change the type of payment requests being shown to "Paid". This will display all the payment requests that have been paid but not yet posted to the customer account.
Select the payment requests you would like to post using the checkboxes. Use the top checkbox to select all.
Use [Post Payment] to open the dialog that will allow you to select the payment Branch, Method, and Till which will be used to record the payment and for certain reports.

If the profile settings in the Home tab for the current account have "Force Branch/Till/Payment Method selection - Payment" turned off the relevant boxes will automatically populate; if not set the Branch, Method and Till that the payments should be associated with manually using the dropdown boxes.
Once you are happy with your selection press [OK].
After MediBooks has finished processing the payments, a message will appear saying that the payment requests were posted successfully.
For Payment Requests sent to statements, the payment will be allocated as it would when using the allocate button on the Payment screen.
