A normal debut note on an account needs to have a purchase made against the account. If however, this is not possible an Adhoc-Credit can be applied.
1. Click in to the account you wish to debit. then [Click Debit Note].
2. The following screen will appear. [Click Add Ad-hoc Credit]
3. The following screen will appear. Fill in the relevant information then [Click Ok]
4. You will now see the debit item appear in the lower bottom half of the Debit Note screen. Make sure you have also filled in the Method, High Street and Main Till drop-down options at the top of the screen.
If you have made an error you can right-click on the item and select Delete Item.
5. Click Post to Account at the top of the screen, the debit note screen will redirect you to the account menu and will show the debit item on the customer's account. You will see the account balance be adjusted.
