User Types

User Types

When viewing the User Management page in MediBooks, users are grouped by the type of profile they have. This type can be used to create different default Workflow settings such as what screen should open when a transaction is posted and accounts with the "System Administrator" will get automatic access to the system, overriding their access profile.

Types are set either by the Medical System or from within each profile's settings. If the Medical System is synced to MediBooks, any changes made to the user type in the Medical System will be reflected in MediBooks once the two have been synced.

The User Type can be changed from the edit user dialog, which is opened by double-clicking on a user on the User Management page. Select a new type from the dropdown box indicated in the image below. Close the dialog using the Save button.

If you are happy with the changes use the Save button on the dark grey bar.
