Syncing EMIS with MediBooks

Syncing EMIS with MediBooks

To Sync, EMIS requires that any accounts used for syncing are enabled. As an alternative to enabling each account in EMIS, a default account can be added to the System Setup, which will be used if the current user does not have the required permissions in EMIS.

EMAS Manager can be used set up the EMIS permissions for the default account or individual MediBooks account.

To open this, in EMIS, click the EMIS button at the top of the page, then go to System Tools, and then EMAS Manager.

Select the Partner API option, then from the list, click MediBooks option.

Click 'Edit Users' and tick the first user that requires activation. You may need to set a password, this can be [Password1!] for all users. When you have activated the users, click 'OK'.

If required, to setup the default account, go to MediBooks and click on the Blue Plus button, then go to Settings and System Setup.

Next, open the Medical System tab. The account details can be found in the 'Log on username' and 'Log on password' boxes. Update these to contain the username/password from the EMAS manager.

If needed the password can be reset using the EMAS Manager.
