MediBooks Authentication Methods

In MediBooks there are multiple different ways a user can log in, settings that can be used to view or change the current login method can be found on the "MediBooks Client Configuration" window, inside the section labeled "Authentication Method". What the authentication method settings are set to will be specific to each computer. 

Accessing the MediBooks Client Configuration window

To access the MediBooks client configuration window, first, open the login screen.

Next click on the three dots (...) which can be found next to the Server option, these will open the client configuration window.

 

Authentication methods

On the page that opens look for the section marked "Authentication Method". Here you can see that there are three different options for logging into MediBooks:

  1. Password Authentication - This can be used to login to MediBooks with a username and password.
  2. Windows Authentication - Using this option will allow you to login as long as you are logged into the windows account specified under the user management page.
  3. Medical System
In the example below "Password Authentication" is being used.

Changing your authentication method

You can change this by clicking anywhere on the desired option. However, you will need to have the correct login credentials set up in MediBooks before you will be able to log in.
To save your changes select "Save".
