Allowing Part Payment on Invoices with a Booking Fee Item

For more information on Booking Fees please read: Using Booking Fees

The "Allow bill part payment setting when bill has booking fees item" can be used to change how bills with booking fees can be actioned by customers.

First, open the System Setup page on MediBooks. To open this page click on the Blue Plus (+) at the top left of the page, then select [Settings], then finally click on [System Setup].

Click on [Virtual Terminal] from the menu on the left side of the window. It has been annotated to highlight the Bill Part Payment setting.

Click on the setting to turn it on or off.
  1. If the setting is left turned off, the customer need to pay the full amount of the bill as the usually would.
  2. If the setting is turned on, part payments can be made for bills that contain booking fees; the same as with statements. This allows customers to choose how much of the bill is paid as long as the payment is above a minimum amount. Which provides control over whether or not the booking fee is paid.
