Duplicate Accounts

If multiple accounts for the same customer have unintentionally been created. To resolve the duplicate accounts we recommend  transferring any balance from the extra account, removing the external ID then setting the account to closed.

To set the account as closed go to the Account Details and use the Account Status dropdown


Using alerts you can add a message to the old account pointing to the main account -> Setting Alerts (medibooks.cloud)


If the account has no transactions it can be deleted. To do this go to Modify -> Customer Details then click Actions -> Delete.
