Manually Deleting the Cache Files
Before starting please ensure that:
- MediBooks is closed.
- You
have access to the database file path location for your practice as
this may need validating once the cache files have been deleted.
- If
you are unsure of what to do for any of the steps shown in this article
please reach out to your IT administrator or MediBooks support for
help.
The
cache files for Medibooks can be found inside the AppData folder, from
here there are two different locations for the MediBooks cache files:
Local and Roaming. We will start from the Roaming folder. This folder
can be reached by typing %appdata% inside the Windows File Address bar.
By default the Roaming folder will open.
From
the Roaming folder, open the "Total Solutions Group" folder. Then open
the "Medibooks" folder and delete all of the files and folders.
To
find the next set of cache files, navigate to the Local App Data
folder, and open the folder called "Total_Solutions_Group". Inside this
folder find the folder whose name starts with BillingTC.exe_StrongName_
and delete it.
If
the Local folder is not in the same location as the Roaming folder,
check under the profile for the current user inside the C:\ drive.
