To search for an existing Patient, Business or Transaction within the system, open the Customer Tab and select [Customer Search].
In the bottom, left corner of the screen, you have the option to search by Customer, Transaction, or Other.
Select whether you would like to search for a Customer, Transaction or Other, enter the details in the search boxes provided, and click [Search for Matches].
You can use partial names in searches. For example, if you searched for “Su Jo”, you would achieve a list of results including names such as “Sue Jones” and “Susan Jobson”. You can also search for all customers by typing in % in the name field this will display a list of all customers on the database as shown in the example image below.
You can select a customer by left-clicking on the row containing their name in the grid. If the customer account has been highlighted using another method such as using the arrow keys, the account may be highlighted but not actually selected. This can be seen in the example below, where the customer who has been selected can be seen in the ribbon menu at the top of the page, which differs from the highlighted customer.
