Remove External ID from Account
To remove the External ID, with the customer selected go to Modify -> Customer Details Open the Account details tab. Then click on the lock icon. Click Yes on the icon. Then in the text box and remove the External ID. Click Save.
Searching for Accounts by Bill ID
To search for an account by Bill ID, first open the Customer Search page inside the Customer tab. Click on the Transaction button. Click on the Bill text box and enter the Bill ID. Click [Search for Matches].
